End of an Era

Everywhere I go people are saying, “Happy New Year”. I realize that it’s fast approaching, but can you just let me linger in 2004 a bit longer? Stop shoving 2005 down my throat, world!

Besides, I haven’t recovered from Christmas, yet. I need to catch my breath before I start looking for more shit to celebrate.

Don’t go shopping. I went into Old Navy yesterday to buy the coat that I didn’t get for Christmas.

It’s all spring crap all ready.

And Hallmark had Valentines’ Day crap out.

Why is everyone always in a rush. I need time.

Hey, even in 2005, you can still date things with 2004. The real fun will be when you date checks with a 2004.. yeah, many laughs will be had.
