My Mysteriously Infertile Crotch Cave

Today was the first day in a year that I have reconsidered having another child.

He was so terrible, I seriously thought for several hours that I wasn’t sure I could handle him for 15 more years, let alone another one. Worse yet, I felt glad that we’ve been unable to conceive the last 8 months.

He did something, I don’t remember what it was, and I changed my mind again, but shit, I had a rough day.

Ah, children. Yes, I have a 15 year old daughter and a 3 and a half year old(26 year old) miniature black lab. So…I KNOW your pain. I have resigned myself to this fact:

It’s my own fault

That usually doesn’t help…but normally, after admitting that sad fact of life to myself, I can see the futility in getting upset by what either of them has done, and I get on with my day.

I know that eventually my dog will either run away or get knocked up by some stray and want to have her puppies and have them live in my home. Damn, come to think of it, I guess that could happen with either one of them.

Jesus….now I need a drink
