is there a category for best slackass blog? i want to see that category! cooking blogs? are there many? wow.

I like “My Life With Garlic” a lot, and I love it when recipes are on “Baggage Carousel,” though that isn’t strictly a cooking blog. Competition would be too stiff for “best slackass blog.” (Isn’t it interesting how I can cuss if I’m quoting someone, but to do it on my own would make my head implode?) I’m not EVEN finished with my nominations for the BOBs, either–they don’t have enough categories. Like, one of my fave reads is “Waking Ambrose”, http://www.bitterbierce.blogspot.com. Go read it, and tell me, please, HOW you would categorize that? Best smart-guy blog? I dunno, but I adore Doug.

I know! There are so many awesome blogs that just don’t fit in a category nicely like that. That Bitter Bierce is awesome, though. I can tel I’m going to have to spend some time in his archives soon.
