Douchebag Crush of the Week: Justin Timberlake

I have to admit, this isn’t the first time in my life when I’ve had this problem. When Justified came out, I listened to “Like I Love You” way more than any healthy adult should. And when the video for “Cry Me a River” aired (I was in Germany the first time I saw it), I thought I had found musical nirvana.

Stop laughing, I stand by those songs even now, though as I near 30 years old I wonder about my strange affection for JT. I thought I had put it to bed, only thinking about him when he showed up on the cover of People with Cameron Diaz on a surf board or something. And there’s always Teen Choice Awards … yeah, I’m sick.

Anyway, if you haven’t crawled out from under your rock to hear his new stuff, I encourage you to do so. “FutureSex / LoveSounds” is incredible. Seriously!

But could someone tell me how he got off clean in the JJ “wardrobe malfunction,” considering he’s the one who did the ripping?

I love him too. (Leah hangs her head shamefacedly.) I second Jessica B. on the “Rock Your Body” video / song. That song was my favorite song that summer…. I just couldn’t stop listening to it.

And as soon as you get the pumpupthejam vs. justin t. mashup posted somewhere…you have to let us all know. You realize I’m a HUGE sucker for mashups. Digital Eargasm (digitaleargasm.blogspot.com) had some really good ones last month. There was one of Depeche Mode and Marilyn Manson that was pretty decent…
