From what I learned in my photography classes though Paige. Most of the color prints and photographs you see that were dated that far back were actually taken with black and white film and then developed then hand-colored. The first actual photograph that was taken by a camera that had color to it was the 1908, the same year Henry Ford produced the first Model T automobile. Those photos that were dated that far back that were hand-colored are so interesting to look at though. So much talent before their own time.
