Paul Thomas Anderson ‘There Will Be Blood’

I was just wondering when the next PT Anderson film would surface. I’d actually heard nothing about this prior, so this trailer is pretty exciting. Appears to be a typically brilliant Anderson piece, with perhaps more mind paid to cinematically stunning camera work. The film is based on an Upton Sinclair novel, and is a turn-of-the-century tale about oil, greed, faith and family. Interestingly, Anderson’s set of usual suspects (William H Macy, John C Reilly, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, etc.) aren’t present … the entire cast seems to be present solely to support Daniel Day Lewis (who, by the way, looks fantastic. By that I mean he’s hot).

Thanks for the heads up, Michael.

If it is perhaps Paul Dano as Eli Sunday will have his own teaser soon and more characters from There Will Be Blood will also emerge. [...]
