Motomichi Nakamura’s Monster Series

Nakamura has been working on the “Monster Series” since 2003, and all of the designs are awesome. I love the thickness of the bodies, the simplicity in color, and the minimalist approach to what defines them as “monsters” is brilliant. Just eyes, most of the time. Nakamura has a lot of other great stuff to check out in his portfolio, the Painted Objects also make good use of the basic red, black and white color scheme utilized with the monsters to great effect.
