But seriously, if you’re watching it, Sheryl Crow is performing two major hits (one is “inspired by the dalai lama,” you guys) at the moment, and as the camera pans across the crowd, I really felt lonely without someone to laugh with.

No one knows the words to “A Change Will Do You Good”? Seriously, everyone is singing along but no one knows the words. No one. Well, the woman doing American Sign Language knows the words. I mean shit, I know the fucking words to “Every Day is a Winding Road.” It’s ubiquitous. Also I’ve eaten at Applebee’s before.

OMG she just broke out into “I Can See Clearly Now.” … No one knows the words to this song, either. They just remembered the words to the second song and haven’t caught up to her yet.

I should stop.

this is why the convention should be coupled with happy hour…or applebee’s (i’m not even sure why that apostrophe is there).

I’ve been to Applebee’s, and everyone has so much fun. I think I’d love to feel hopeful and changeful there!
