Are Republicans really trying to argue that she has international relations experience because Alaska is close to Russia? I saw a clip of Cindy McCain saying the same thing, and I have to admit that I’m wondering what the fuck that even means. I’m not the only one: Colbert argued that since Alaska has Mt. McKinley, she technically has outer space relations experience since the highest peak is the tallest in America. Hilarious, but seriously … what the fuck does the Governor of Alaska do with Russia?
Well you know, Alaska is close to the northern (uninhabited) regions of Russia. Maybe she knows somebody in the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Ha.
