Mixtape: Flux-Rad 2008, Pt. 1

It’s that time of year – I begin going through all the records I’ve acquired and revisit almost all of them in an attempt to both clear away things that didn’t stick and celebrate those that did. It’s time for another mixtape, so I wanted to share some of my favorite tracks from some of my favorite records this year. There are no stray songs here – they all belong to records that I recommend completely. There will be at least two more installments here – one with some softer, and perhaps more experimental tracks, and one wildcard.

I’m having trouble comprehending the reality that neither of people on this cover is Lindsey Buckingham.

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees

oo la la

I’m pretty much downloading this because I’ve only listened to only 1/3 of the artists in here and I’m in hope to find something that shakes me in a rather lazy musical year for me and because the album cover is a still from one of the most mind-blowingly beautiful movies I’ve seen in my life.

Jodorowsky’s ‘the holy mountain’ that is for those who still haven’t seen it.
