stumbled across yr blog via several RTs using the twitter machine ("if architects had to work like web designers").

thanks for posting these fantastic mixtapes! the music & ethos of this particular era were profoundly influential on me. bands as diverse as crimpshrine, heroin and christie front drive somehow make total sense to me being on the same mixtape.

maybe you can add a special bonus tape (a cassingle, perhaps?) including max colby & swing kids!

love the chisel and seam songs SO MUCH. much of the rest of it i am fairly unfamiliar with (except for the dischord stuff, which i discovered later) - it's safe to say that while i was sad and lonely for the 90s (when i wasn't listening to jam bands - okay, when i was listening to jam bands, too), i managed to not really get into "angry" music AT ALL. i went straight from the dead to indie/post rock, electronica, and alt-country, bypassing most hip-hop and punk/hardcore along the way. oh well - these should serve as a nice primer. thanks, paige!

ps where's dahlia seed?
