83: Heroin’s Heroin

This record, along with a handful of others from the time same time period, introduced me to a whole new realm of hardcore I’d previously been oblivious to. I’d been so immersed in D.C.’s music scene the southern California post-hardcore scene came as a complete surprise. I love all everything about this record: the gritty production, the fact that it’s a 45 rpm LP, the noise and angst and sheer insanity of all the songs.
