“The most permanent medium is the digital one.”
This is a really interesting concept to me, considering the fact that we’re talking mostly about social media engagement, which many users complain is too fleeting (since many posts can’t be archived). Granted, there’s a lot more to the medium that the social aspect, and most savvy strategists and users would agree with the above (I do). I wish we’d see more large companies treating the web this way, instead of a place to be needy and less serious in an attempt to test the waters with what they still see as some weird nerd demographic.
