One of the projects I began and directed while working as digital media producer at KUT 90.5 FM was KUT’s Retread Sessions, a web-only video series featuring special Austin locales. I booked the bands, hired the crew, oversaw the edits and published the content to the web before marketing and spreading the word. The series was supported by the radio station for one year before meeting its demise due to budget setbacks. If you have any questions about this project, please contact me.

More About the Crew
David Hartstein grew up just outside of New York City, in the wilds of Long Island, working in the family business distributing building supply materials. Having made several successful short films that played around the world, Hartstein is now completing work on his first feature documentary What Makes Kinky Run?, chronicling Kinky Friedman’s unlikely candidacy in the 2006 Texas gubernatorial race. His appearances on MTV’s The Real World: Austin as an editorial consultant have led to recognition from middle school students around the country. David is a freelance producer in Austin and part-time lecturer in film production at the University of Texas at Austin. Contact him by email: email@example.com.
Kevin Schneider graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in composition, but has since made his living recording and producing music and scores for PBS, Dell, Matador Records and many others. A previous engineer at Austin’s Super!Alright!, Kevin has done everything from write scores to record demos. He currently tours as a multi-instrumentalist for the band Shearwater, and continues to write, perform and engineer all over Austin. Contact him by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
